I am the owner of this Beautiful 64"x 40" (5'4"x3'4") (162cmx102cm) Beautiful original oval acrylic art painting. The painting is called The "MOTHER LODE". It depicts a deep woods forest scene in which 26 different "elves" characters discover the "mother lode" of all mushroom hunts. All these different caricatures have different personalities and react to the "mother lode" in different ways which is very much typical of a mushroom foray that we might experience in real life. These caricatures personalities include, 1). The "Scientist" 2).Elf thanking God for his "find". 3).Elf burying his cache of mushrooms in the ground. 4). Unenthusiastic butterfly catcher. 5).Three elves on each others shoulders reaching high in a tree. 6).Old man elf chasing young girl. 7). Two elves pulling on a puffball. 8). One elf sleeping in a tree hammock. 9). Elf digging truffles while a pig eats out of his bounty bag. 10). Elf sawing mushrooms off a stump. 11). Elf on a ladder in a tree. 12). The mushrooms depicted here are at least 13 different types and are easily recognized by almost any beginner mushroom enthusiast.
