1. How much will it cost me to get a site up and running?
We break that down on our Services page. Basically it will be
$500 or $800 to get set up, and an optional $20 monthly for our Hosting and Support fees.2. What do your services cover with this monthly fee?

support, maintenance and updates. Basically we'll cover most
reasonable needs you'll have month to month.3. What will my Web site look like?
It's up to you. If you'd like some ideas, a great place to start is our
Design Search page. If you'd like
some recommendations, we're happy to come up with something we feel will look nice and
compliment your business.4. What is the typical process of working with Step Up Sites and getting a site up?
Good Question. It really varies from case to case. Typically after a client decides to move forward, information and requirements are gathered, and a deposit is paid, we start by creating a comp. After that is approved we move forward with the programming and set up of the web site.5. How can I deliver the content for you to put on my site?
We can work many electronic formats, as long as it's something we
can copy and paste from. Retyping will require unnecessary time
and could lead to error, so we recommend a soft copy.6. I'd like to continue using my current hosting provider, and will do updates myself. Can you still create or redesign my Web site?
Absolutely. Contact us for a quote. Unless you have special or extensive
work in mind, it will cost our $500 or $800 set up fee.7. Can you create Flash movies, design custom logos, or create CD presentations?
Yes. We can take on many other jobs besides Web sites. Again, contact us for a quote. Upon request we can show you our portfolio of such work.8. So what's in the fine print if I want to move forward with this?
For your benefit and ours, we will both need to sign a contract, just to reduce
any confusion as to what we will provide, how payments are made, what to expect, etc..
See a sample contract as a reference.9. I really like the design and content of this site I saw. Can you make a site just like that?
Probably not just like that. You need to be careful about violating
copyright laws and committing plagerism. It is also very unprofessional to directly copy
someone else's content. Having said that, if you like the look and feel of someone's
site, we can definitely design your site with similar elements or colors and give you something
you'll be very happy with without directly copying.Of course you can always look at our Design Search page and find a design that we can match perfectly. This is a great place to get started in selecting the look and feel of your site.
10. How long will it take to get my site up and running?
That partially depends on you delivering content or choosing a design for your site. From the point that we
have this, it will likely take 1-2 weeks, depending on your response to design comps,
how busy we are, etc.. We can provide a time estimate as we start, and will keep in
touch and let you know how it is going. If you're able to respond fairly quickly, we should
have no problem in staying under 2 weeks.11. Once my site is up, how do I request support and/or updates to my site?
Simply submit the request to our Support & Update Request Ticket System
(www.StepUpSites.com/support).
You will be provided a tracking number and receive emails so you can check on the status of
the request. We typically respond to all requests within 24 hours.12. What is this "CMS" that you offer with your Deluxe Web Sites?
A "CMS" is a Content Management System. In a nutshell it is a great tool that allows you to
log into a special part of your web site with a username and password, and make edits, updates, or
additions yourself. Want to add a new page? You can do that from this tool, and it will even appear in
your navigational links throughout your site.We offer training on using this tool. If you're pretty comfortable using programs like Word, then you should catch on easily.
